Justice Department Sues Dallas Towing Company United Tows in September 2020 in Alleged Servicemembers Civil Relief Act Violations for Selling Five Servicemember-Owned Vehicles

The Justice Department filed a complaint against Dallas-based United Tows LLC on September 28, 2020 alleging the company violated the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act by selling five servicemember-owned vehicles without first obtaining the court orders the SCRA requires, according to the DOJ. The case later resolved with a $50,000 consent settlement.
