The Justice Department announced on July 29, 2021 that Dallas towing company United Tows LLC had agreed to pay $50,000 to resolve allegations it sold five servicemember-owned vehicles without first obtaining a court order, in violation of the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, according to CollisionWeek. The settlement also required the company to develop SCRA verification policies.
